"The Killer Duet" (inspired by the musical "Little Shop of Horrors")

"The guy sure looks like plant food to me!"

This painting was created for the "Some Fun Now" group art show at the SugarMynt Gallery of Pasadena which paid tribute to all things "Little Shop"! The painting was inspired by the moment from the musical where Seymour decides Owen Scrivello D.D.S. has crossed the line with Audrey and needs to go!

Continuing my trend of integrated frames, Audrey 2 was created using a combination of rough cut styrofoam and two part epoxy putty. The sculpture was airbrushed with a variety of transparent colors including some iridescent colors to give her that glossy look. Unlike similar previous projects, no mold was made of this frame. This is the only one in existence!
